Is there any chance that iChat via Bonjour will be supported?
It shows up in the list of Slinks remote devices, but messages won't get through.

This is because iChat is partially based on UDP. Slink user SSH port forwarding as its secure transport. Unfortunately, SSH only supports port forwarding of TCP and not UDP.
Almost all services are based on TCP though, so this is not a severe restriction. The exceptions are mostly IM/VoIP apps like iChat.
We are currently planning Slink 2, and support for UDP is something we are looking into.

Technically, connecting to an UPNP-router should work with a parallel connection via UDP - which Slink needs to establish. Plz correct me if I'm wrong.
