I know this would require a lot more work than simple protocol forwarding but it would be great if i could plug my iPhone into my laptop that is using Slink to connect to my mac mini at home and have it show up in my iTunes on the mac mini so I could sync/back/restore/etc. the iPhone over a remote desktop connection.
If thats doable i imagine forwarding a usb device connected to my mac mini (a usb camera, printer, etc.) and have is act as though it were connected to my laptop.
A simpler (maybe?) option would be to get the iPhone that's on the same wireless network my laptop is connected to to be forwarded to the mini so wireless syncing would work. This would work for syncing but not for restores and the such which need a USB connection.
