Option to change menu bar icon color

Most menu bar icons are completely desaturated (i.e. grayscale). For visual consistency, would it be possible to add a set of optional grayscale icons?

This is already available as a feature. Go to Preferences > Menu bar and select "Use black and white menu bar icon".
